Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 March 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how KiwiClub Sweden ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar
technologies on lostkiwi.online. It complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive
(2002/58/EC, as amended by 2009/136/EC), the Swedish Electronic Communications Act
(Lagen om elektronisk kommunikation, LEK), and the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR).
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website
remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use the site.
Cookies can be:
- Session cookies โ deleted when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies โ remain on your device until they expire or you delete them
- First-party cookies โ set by the website you're visiting (us)
- Third-party cookies โ set by other services loaded on our pages
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We categorise our cookies into four groups:
Necessary
Essential for the website to function. These cannot be disabled. They handle
sessions, login authentication, security tokens, and form submissions. No consent required
under ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3).
Functional
Enhance your experience. Remember your language preference, display mode
(light/dark), and other settings. The site works without these, but with reduced
personalisation. Requires consent.
Analytics
Help us understand usage. Collect anonymised data about how visitors
interact with the site โ which pages are visited, how long users stay, where they come
from. We do not currently use third-party analytics. If this changes, we will update
this policy and ask for consent.
Marketing
We do not use marketing cookies. We do not serve targeted ads, we do not
use retargeting, and we do not share data with advertising networks. If this ever changes,
we will obtain your explicit consent first.

5. Your Consent
Under EU law, we must obtain your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device:
- Necessary cookies โ do not require consent (ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) exemption)
- Functional cookies โ require your consent, which you can give or withdraw at any
time
- Analytics cookies โ require consent if/when implemented
- Marketing cookies โ not used; would require consent if added
How we obtain consent:
When you first visit our site, a cookie banner will ask you to accept or customise your
cookie preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by scrolling to the footer
and clicking "Cookie Settings".
6. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings:

| Safari |

โ ๏ธ Note: Blocking necessary cookies will prevent some website features from
working correctly (e.g., logging in, submitting forms). We recommend keeping necessary
cookies enabled.
7. Similar Technologies
In addition to cookies, we may use:
- Local Storage โ stores data in your browser (e.g., draft form inputs, preferences).
Works like cookies but doesn't expire automatically.
- Session Storage โ similar to local storage but cleared when you close your browser
tab.
These technologies are covered by the same consent rules as cookies under the ePrivacy Directive.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this cookie policy when we add or remove cookies. When we make significant changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top
- We will re-present the cookie consent banner for new categories
- We will not introduce new non-essential cookies without asking for consent
